Graduation

York High School announced that several students have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC®) for their outstanding academic performance on the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).

The National Merit Scholarship Program is a prestigious academic competition in the United States that recognizes and awards high-achieving high school students for their outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). Each year, students who score in the top percentile are designated as semifinalists, and from that group, finalists are selected based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, and a recommendation from their school. Scholarships are awarded to a select group of finalists, providing financial support for their college education
