5th Grade Family Chicago Dog’s Game May 19
Save the date for a night of 5th grade fun at the Chicago Dogs game! Thanks to Rachel Moorhead and Jackie Smith for organizing and to Jen Kramer for all the Lincoln PTA support. More details will follow but be sure to mark your calendars now!
Last Call to create your Custom Page - Deadline is this Saturday, 4/30!
If you would like your child's yearbook to ship at the same time as the rest of their classmates, please order your book by Saturday, April 30th. We are back to "normal" this year - yearbooks will be shipping directly to Bryan, with teachers allowing time in class the last week of school to sign books. Make sure that your child doesn't miss out on the opportunity to swap yearbooks with their pals for those coveted signatures! Please note that Lincoln does not order extra inventory to be sold. You must place your own order via the Treering website.
To have access to purchase the "Lincoln Elementary 5th Grade" book this year, please use this link to purchase:https://tr5.treering.
When prompted, please enter our class code (UNIQUE FOR THIS YEAR ONLY):
Once you are in with that code, you should see "Lincoln Elementary 5th Grade" in the menu on the left side. You may also see Lincoln Elementary listed in addition to other schools if you have a child at Edison or Hawthorne. Click on "Lincoln Elementary 5th Grade" and then see the button to order in the middle of the page under the heading "2021-2022 Yearbook"
It’s Kindness Month Print out this flyer and talk as a family about what you plan to do for each item. Talk about what being kind means and why it’s important. Planning the month should be fun. No one says you have to go in order. You can hang up the list and simply mark them off as you complete each act of kindness.
Kindness itself is very motivating and the true reward is the feeling you get from completing a kind act, but as an added incentive, the City’s Commission on Youth will award thirty $10 Elmhurst City Center gift cards randomly among all entries received. No later than Monday, May 9th, please email your completed list to Commissioner Anne Zimmer at email@example.com. We encourage you to submit pictures from your family's month of kindness too! For more information and resources, visit elmhurst.org/kindnessmonth.
