Lincoln Elementary School

Welcome Message from the PTA President

Welcome to the new school year!

Hello Fellow Lincoln Lion Families!

My name is Michelle Huber and I am looking forward to serving as your PTA President for the 2018-2019 school year.  Our family will be starting our 8thyear at Lincoln, with sons in 2ndand 4thgrade and a daughter/Lincoln Alum in 7thgrade at Bryan Middle School.

This year, not only do we have an amazing and talented group of PTA committee chairs and officers, but the entire Lincoln School Community – parents, teachers and staff -- continues to remain passionate and dedicated to supporting our programs and goals.  I am truly honored to be part of that!

Last year, the PTA supported many programs and events, including the Halloween Carnival, Book Fair, STEMFest, Explore More, Talent Show, Junior Great Books, Leo’s Obstacle Course, Kindergarten Welcome Events, Safe Routes to School, Parent Patrol, Back to school Pep Rally, a variety of fun filled social activities, and more! Additionally, through the awesome generosity of our school community, we were able to contribute and support Lincoln through the creation of a Maker’s Space in our library, provide curriculum based books and extra classroom supplies to our teachers, honor our outgoing 5thgrade families at a very special recognition night, spoil our teachers with an incredible Appreciation Week, and of course create a truly beautiful Outdoor Classroom space that will continue to grow and evolve.

All of these amazing accomplishments would never have happened without all of YOU…we truly rely on our dedicated parents and staff to donate their time, talents and resources in whatever capacity they can.  There are SO MANY WAYS to get involved at Lincoln…whether you want to start small, serve on a committee, or take on a large event, the PTA is always looking for volunteers!  And from experience, I can attest that it is truly special to see the joy in the children’s faces as they participate in and benefit from these programs!

If you want to learn more about ways to help, or have any questions, concerns, or simply ideas to share, always feel free to reach out to me at

I can’t wait to work with all of you to continue to help support our school!
