Dear SUPER Lincoln Families,
Have a SUPER weekend!

Letters to Santa, or to The World
As we have done in the past, Lincoln will again help Samantha Uditsky, a senior at York High School, by participating in the Macy’s holiday letter writing fundraiser for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Six years ago, her cousin, Gabriella Miller, was diagnosed with DIPG at the age of nine. DIPG is a type of brain cancer common in children. Gabriella was always thinking about helping others, and she made it her mission to collect as many letters as possible, to not only to give back to the foundation that granted her a wish, but to also help bring happiness to other children. Every year during the holiday season, Macy´s collects letters written to Santa (or to the World). For every letter written and delivered to the red mailboxes within the stores, Macy’s will donate one dollar to the Make - A - Wish foundation. Ever since her cousin’s death, Samantha has continued to collect letters to bring to Macy's and raise money to help grant other children Wishes. Last year, she collected over 12,500 letters, thanks to the incredible help from Lincoln, and the rest of the district! This year, she hopes to pass last year’s number, and reach 15,000 letters. If your family would like to participate, please have your letters written and delivered to the Lincoln Office by December 21.

No Parking at Epiphany Church - Reminder
Due to the parking needs each day at Epiphany Church - Senior Care and Prayer Groups – please refrain from parking at Epiphany Church when dropping off or picking up children from school. All parking spots at Epiphany are reserved for the programs described above, and even one or two parents parking cars to walk children over to the school is creating parking issues for Senior Care and the Prayer Groups. It is understood how rushed mornings can feel, and how convenient it seems to park at Epiphany. However, the parking spot at Epiphany are needed and Lincoln families are kindly asked to park around the block, or drop students off in the Hillside or Fairfield carline locations. If you have any questions about parking, please contact the Lincoln office. Thank you!

Ongoing Service Project for Lincoln Students - Ronald McDonald House
The Lincoln students have already collected a little over 20 lbs. in pop tabs and it isn't even December! Little things can make a difference! These pop tabs will be dropped off at the Ronald McDonald House at Loyola in Maywood. Throughout the school year, the students will be collecting and weighing the pop tabs to see if they can reach their end of the year goal, which is to collect 40 lbs. of pop tabs. We are already half way there! One pound of pop tabs is equal to 1,267 tabs. Please join in on the fun. Celebrate your pop tab collections on social media with #rmhccni. To learn more about collecting pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House, check out this site:
