CODE-I-GAMI CLUB

The Code-I-Gami Club gives students in 5th grade the opportunity to learn and develop their origami and computer coding skills.  Students will be using the ancient art of paper folding origami and working on computer coding (as per their interest).  Students will learn the basics of paper folding, working at their own pace to develop and master the creation of objects through the art of origami. The coding element gives students in 5th grade the opportunity to learn and develop their computer coding skills.
Students will be using the following websites:  code.org, codecombat.com and scratch.mit.edu.  Students will learn the basics of coding, working at their own pace to design and develop code writing ability, programs and games.
